Spring Egg Hunt

2016


Black History Celebration


A cultural celebration of the African American community in Richmond.  Enjoy a southern meal; song, dance and music from local artists; and an honoring of community members who have contributed positively to the City. 

Chinese New Year Celebration


This event is a celebration of the Chinese community in Richmond.  Join us and enjoy a variety of entertainment while you are served a delicious meal.                          

Spring Egg Hunt and Recreation Information Day

Event will be held at Nicholl Park on March 19, 2016.  Egg hunts will begin at 10:00am.  Bring the kids to hunt eggs in the beautiful Central Park of Nicholl Park and while you are there, learn about all of the new and exciting programs that the Recreation Department is offering.  This event is rain or shine.  If it rains, the event will be moved inside the Richmond Recreation Complex (3230 Macdonald Ave.)

FestivALL
Join the Recreation and Parks Commission on July 9, 2016 for a Health and Community Fair for the whole family. FestivALL includes a Classic Car Show, food vendors, information booths, live music & raffles. For more information, call (510) 812-1903.
            

Free Family Movies


Looking for family fun this summer that won't break the bank?  Check out our Free Family Movies series at the Richmond Memorial Auditorium.  All shows start at 6:00pm, are free of charge, and rated PG.  Popcorn and bottled water are available for $1 each.  Movie titles will be announced January 2015.

Third of July Celebration

Fireworks, food, and fun are what this event is all about.  Celebrate with your fellow community members at Marina Bay Park from 5:30pm-9:30pm to enjoy music and the youth play area (for a fee) until the night sky explodes with color in our 20 minute fireworks display at approximately 9:15pm. 
 
Picnic in the Point and Fall Festival

Senior Winter Ball


An evening of dinner and dancing.  This event is held at the Richmond Memorial Auditorium.  Call 510-620-6793 for more information. 
          

62nd Annual Snowball


This formal event is for all high school students grades 9-12th.  An evening you won't want to miss.  The event will be held at the Richmond Memorial Auditorium.   


 

Candy Cane Classic Basketball Tournament
