The Annual General Adjustment rent increase may only be applied if the tenancy began PRIOR TO September 1 of the PRIOR year. Prior to June 30 each year, the Rent Board announces the amount of the Annual General Adjustment. The Annual General Adjustment is not effective, and may not be imposed, prior to September 1.
