    June 12, 2019, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Multipurpose Room, Community Services Building, Basement Level

    The Design Review Board functions as the decision-making body for the design of new development projects and most exterior changes to existing buildings. The Board also acts as an advisory body to the Planning Commission in cases also involving a land use decision. The Board's decisions can be appealed to the City Council, which can uphold the Board's decision, overturn it, or modify it. Come and join us!

  1. General Public Informational Meeting - RHA Section 8 Transfer

    June 12, 2019, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM @ City Council Chambers

    The Richmond Housing Authority’s (RHA) Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCV) will be transferred to the Housing Authority of Contra Costa County (HACCC) effective July 1, 2019. A formal public announcement of the transfer occurred on June 1, 2019. HACCC also sent individual notices to all affected applicants, participants and landlords. FAQs were posted to RHA’s and HACCC’s websites. Through June 30, RHA staff will continue to administer the program in accordance with their current job duties. The following key activities are scheduled for the upcoming weeks: • June 12, 10-11:30 a.m. An Informational Meeting for the general public will be held in the City Council Chambers.

  2. Economic Development Commission

    June 12, 2019, 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM @ City Hall

    Economic Development Commissioners are appointed by the Mayor. The purpose of this Commission is to advise the City Council and City officials on proposed activities for the development of the City’s port, marina and other overall economic development of the City. The Commission shall work with the City Manager and his designees on projects which substantially affect overall economic development in the City. Staff resources necessary to facilitate economic development shall be coordinated through the City manager’s Office.
