Get Active!
The City of Richmond is proud to play an active role in the positive development of our youth today. Youth Sports builds  teamwork, cooperation, leadership, patience and most of all it gets our youth active. It is our goal to provide not only great programs, but a variety of programs for children to choose from. 

Tennis Instruction for Youth
Youth ages 6-17 can receive novice and intermediate tennis instruction from a certified United States Professional Tennis Association Instructor. Classes are held Monday through Thursday at Nicholl Park. For more information, please call the Recreation Department at (510) 620-6793.

Youth Sports
This Youth Sports program is designed for youth ages 5-17 years of age. Instruction will focus on basic skills enhancement. Sharpen your skills with us in game situations, sports clinics and leagues change seasonally. For more information, please call the Recreation Department at (510) 620-6793.

As our partnerships grow, so do our program choices and we need your help to expand athletics in our community by becoming a volunteer or employee of the City of Richmond.  If you are interested in participating with youth sports, please call (510) 620-6919.
