The Small Business of the Month Awards are sponsored by City of Richmond Mayor Gayle McLaughlin.

Small business awards will be presented at the 4th Tuesday City Council meeting of every month. One or more small businesses will be honored each month. Award recipients will be invited to receive their certificates of appreciation at the City Council from Mayor McLaughlin in honor of their outstanding work in promoting our local economy in the City of Richmond.

The Nomination Form is now available on the City's Website.

Criteria for nominations are:

• 50 employees or less
• Business must operate in the City of Richmond
• No chain businesses or franchises will be considered

The deadline for nominations is the 15th of each month.
