 Spring Egg Hunt


Picnic in the Point and Fall Festival

Senior Winter Ball
An evening of dinner and dancing.  This event is held at the Richmond Memorial Auditorium on Saturday, December 6, 2014.  Call 510-620-6793 for more information. 
61st Annual Snowball
This formal event is for all high school students grades 9-12th.  A evening you won't want to miss.  The event will be held at the Richmond Memorial Auditorium on Saturday, December 13, 2014.

Candy Cane Classic Basketball Tournament

Friday, December 19-Sunday, December 21, 2014 at various gymnasiums.  Divisions include 10U, 12U, & 14U for both boys and girls.  For more information please call 510-620-6793.          

New Year Celebration
This celebration will be held at the Richmond Memorial Auditorium!  Join us and enjoy a variety of entertainment while you're served a delicious meal.  Tickets are $20/person for inner circle seating and $15/person for outer circle seating.  Tickets available at the Richmond Senior Center - 2525 Macdonald Avenue.  Please call 510-307-8087 or 510-620-6793 for more information.  Event date to be announced soon.

Black History Celebration
A cultural celebration of the African American community in Richmond.  Join us for a sit down southern meal; song, dance and music from local artists; an honoring of community members who have contributed positively to the City and fashions from different regions of Africa.  Tickets are $15 in advance at the Richmond Senior Center - 2525 Macdonald Avenue.  Call 510-307-8087 or 510-307-8086 for more information.  Event date to be announced soon.

Spring Egg Hunt and Recreation Information Day
Event will be held in the Civic Center Plaza from 9:00am-12:00pm.  First egg hunt will be at 10:00am.
Bring the kids to hunt eggs in the beautiful Civic Center Plaza and while you are there, learn about all of the new and exciting programs that the Recreation Department is offering.  This event is rain or shine and for more information please call 510-620-6793.  Event date to be announced soon.

Free Family Movies
Looking for family fun this summer that won't break the bank?  Check out our Free Family Movies series at the Richmond Memorial Auditorium.  All shows start at 6:00pm, are free of charge, and rated PG.  Popcorn and bottled water are available for $1 each.  Movie titles will be announced January 2015.
Annual Third of July Celebration
Fireworks, food, and fun are what this event is all about.  Celebrate with your fellow community members at Marina Bay Park from 6:00pm-10:00pm to enjoy live blues music and the youth play area (for a fee) until the night sky explodes with color in our 20 minute fireworks display at approximately 9:15pm.
