Fall Festival
Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the Richmond Plunge and Judge Carroll Park from 11:00am-2:00pm.
Explore the carnival games and activities that the entire family can enjoy, and don't forget to go inside The Plunge to pick out that perfect pumpkin in our floating pumpkin patch (yes pumpkins float).  See the 2014 Fall Fest flyer here.

          
Senior Winter Ball
An evening of dinner and dancing.  This event is held at the Richmond Memorial Auditorium on Saturday, December 7, 2013.  Call 510-620-6793 for more information.  See the 2013 Senior Winter Ball flyer here.
          
61st Annual Snowball
This formal event is for all high school students grades 9-12th.  A evening you won't want to miss.  The event will be held at the Richmond Memorial Auditorium on Saturday, December 14, 2013.

Candy Cane Classic Basketball Tournament

Friday, December 20-Sunday, December 22, 2013 at various gymnasiums.  Divisions include 10U, 12U, & 14U for both boys and girls.  For more information please call 510-620-6720.  See the 2013 Candy Cane Classic flyer here.

Holiday Wonder Workshop
Enjoy a great time with friends and family while you visit with Santa, decorate a cookie and make an ornament you can take home and put on your tree!  This is a free event at the Richmond Recreation Complex, Friday, December 20, 2013 and Monday, December 23, 2013 from 4:00pm-7:00pm.  For more information please call 510-307-8086 or 510-620-6793.

Chinese New Year Celebration

Black History Celebration
A cultural celebration of the African American community in Richmond on February 8, 2014!  Join us for a sit down southern meal; song, dance and music from local artists; an honoring of community members who have contributed positively to the City and fashions from different regions of Africa.  Tickets are $15 in advance at the Richmond Senior Center - 2525 Macdonald Avenue.  Call 510-307-8087 or 510-307-8086 for more information.  See the 2014 Black History Celebration flyer here.

Spring Egg Hunt and Recreation Information Day
Saturday, April 12, 2014 in the Civic Center Plaza from 9:00am-12:00pm.  First egg hunt will be at 10:00am.

Free Family Movies
Looking for family fun this summer that won't break the bank?  Check out our Free Family Movies series at the Richmond Memorial Auditorium.  All shows start at 6:00pm, are free of charge, and rated PG.  Popcorn and bottled water are available for $1 each.  2014 Showtimes:  June 20 - Frozen, July 18 - Despicable Me 2, August 8 - Percy Jackson, Sea of Monsters

Annual Third of July Celebration
Fireworks, food, and fun are what this event is all about.  Celebrate with your fellow community members at Marina Bay Park from 6:00pm-10:00pm to enjoy live blues music and the youth play area (for a fee) until the night sky explodes with color in our 20 minute fireworks display at approximately 9:15pm.  See the 2014 Third of July flyer here.
