Quarterly Continuation Training
New Training Opportunities
The West Contra Costa County CERT (C4) Consortium offers on-going, quarterly training opportunities for CERT graduates as a follow up to the program.  The topics include further training on shelter operations, communications, animal response teams, and more! 

As dates are scheduled, all information and flyers will be posted here so check back frequently!

Communications Training
Date and Location TBA

In this course you will learn FRS radio operator responsibilities and communications methodologies.  You will learn how to operate an FRS radio and how to operate a team NET. The class will include a sample scenario and neighborhood deployment.

Pandemic Flu

This informative class covers what the pandemic influenza is and how it’s transmitted, including ways to reduce transmission. It also discusses local government response plans, and the roles your CERT team may play to prepare the community before, during and after a pandemic.

CART: CoCo County Animal Response Team

This unique training discusses the role of your local Animal Services Department in a disaster and the role of Contra Costa County Animal Response Team.  You will learn planning steps to protect and save your whole family.
