Healthy Richmond
Healthy Richmond is one of 14 communities in the state working through The California Endowment 's (TCE) Building Healthy Communities (BHC) to implement a ten-year strategic process for creating places where children are healthy, safe and ready to learn.
Healthy Richmond is a community-led effort of organizations to begin a strategic process to address physical, social, and economic issues in order to support healthy living and healthy behavior. It focuses on a geographic area that includes the Iron Triangle, North Richmond, Belding Woods, Coronado, and Pullman neighborhoods.
Residents, community leaders and others in Richmond will work to accomplish ten outcomes that address areas including health care, prevention, violence, youth development, the community environment, and health gaps for men and boys of color.
