Point Molate Community Advisory Committee
The Point Molate Community Advisory Committee (PMCAC) was formed by the City of Richmond City Council under the tenets of Resolution No. 8-11 on January 18, 2011.
Principal functions of the PMCAC include:
- Act as a successor to the former U.S. Navy Restoration Advisory Board (RAB);
- Act as a primary channel for input to the City Council on all matters related to the Point Molate area of Richmond, including clean-up, restoration, sustainable development and use;
- Provide review of proposed Point Molate development budgets with City Staff, and make Point Molate development expenditure recommendations, in conjunction with staff, to City Council;
- Provide Richmond residents with a vehicle for interacting and cooperating with other governmental jurisdictions on all matters related to the Point Molate area of Richmond.
PMCAC is composed of 19 community members appointed by the Richmond City Council and meets the third Mondays of each month from 6:30 to 8:30pm in the Multi-Purpose Room, 440 Civic Center Plaza.
