Street Cut Prohibition
On December 1, 2009, the Richmond City Council adopted Ordinance 39-09 to add Chapter 12.29 (Street Opening and Pavement Restoration Regulations) to the Richmond Municipal Code, establishing a moratorium against excavating in newly resurfaced streets. The map and list of prohibition streets are available below. In accordance with Richmond Ordinance 39-09, a waiver must be obtained to cut into the prohibition streets.
