Easy Go Transportation Services
In 2011, The City of Richmond established the Greenprint Transportation Project, a citywide initiative geared towards reducing Richmond’s part in greenhouse gas emissions and VMT by offering mobility alternatives and transportation education.

In an effort to educate and engage members of the Richmond community, the City partnered with service providers TransMETRO, Inc. and Getaround introducing "Easy Go Transportation Services."

Housed at the Richmond Village Apartments, Easy Go is committed to providing safe and sustainable transportation services. Easy Go assist children to commute to school without the concern of danger, giving low-income parents the chance to travel without while enabling employees to commute to work at a low cost.

Easy Go consists of five exciting programs for Richmond Village residents, two of these programs are open to eligible Richmond residents.
Programs open to Richmond residents

Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV) Carsharing Program
After registering, eligible drivers will earn access to a fleet of hybrid and electric cars. Car owners can also register and lease their personal vehicles.

Richmond residents can use a bicycle at no cost, up to eight hours a day with a $35 deposit. The deposit is refunded upon return of the bicycle.

Easy Go Richmond - Accessible Transportation Solutions

residents should have access to quality transportation services. Easy Go Richmond has implemented Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV) Carsharing program. Kid's Cab
Easy Go Kid’s Cab is responsible for picking up and dropping off students at school and after school activities. Services are available for as little as $1 per trip and applicable to Richmond schools only. This exciting program also offers online ridesharing.

Van Sharing
After registering, passengers can request shuttles for planned weekend activities. Shuttle trips within a 30 mile radius of Richmond City Hall are free and $11 per hour over a 30-mile radius.

Transit Access Program
Through the Transit Access Program, Richmond Village Residents can sign up for the Commuter Benefits Program or Easy Pass. Through a partnership with AC Transit, Easy Pass allows one person per household to receive free transit access for one year. Additional household members may receive passes discounted rates.
The Commuter Benefits Program is, a resource for employed Richmond Village Residents. The program allows Easy Go participants to partner with Richmond and San Francisco employees and earn 40% off of transit costs per month.
