Muir Career Academy: YouthWORKS Own Charter High School
The City of Richmond’s Youth Services Division is pleased to announce a partnership with John Muir Charter School and Contra Costa Community College to bring a Career Technical Training Academy to our community.
The Muir Career Academy will serve Richmond and West County youth, age 16 to 24, that have not completed their requirements for a high school diploma.
The Academy will provide accredited high school education services, as well as employment skills and leadership training and provide the pre-enrollment requirements (and enrollment assistance) to participate in Contra Costa Community College’s career path degrees in the fields of Health, Hospitality and Green Hybrid Automotive. It will also provide career path requirements to qualify for enrollment in the national award winning RichmondBUILD Green Construction training academy!
