The Economic Development Commission is a Mayor-appointed / Council-conferred 15-Member Commission.

Mission
To recommend long-term economic development goals to the Richmond City Council and City officials as it concerns the overall economic development of the City.

Meeting Information
The Commission meets every second Wednesday of the month from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at 440 Civic Center Plaza (27th Street & Macdonald Avenue) in the Multipurpose Room (basement area).

If you are interested in serving on the Economic Development Commission please contact City Clerk Diane Holmes at 510-620-6513 to request an application by U.S. mail. The Mayor will review your application and schedule a time to interview you for a possible appointment to the Commission.
