The City Clerk’s Office has the following responsibilities:
- Administering municipal elections, oaths of office, and Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) requirements in accordance with the law
- Disseminating information concerning decisions and policy
- Protecting and preserving official city records
- Providing administrative and technical support to the City Council
- Providing support and coverage of City Council and other City Agency meetings
