Free Recycling and Composting

All Richmond residents are eligible for free weekly recycling and composting services:

  • Brown cart for garbage
  • Blue cart for recyclables
  • Green cart for green waste
Service fees are determined by the size of the garbage cart. By actively recycling and composting each week and opting for a smaller garbage bin, you can divert trash from landfills and actually lower your trash bills each month!
