The Design Review Board functions as the decision-making body for the design of new development projects and most exterior changes to existing buildings. The Board also acts as an advisory body to the Planning Commission in cases also involving a land use decision. The Board's decisions can be appealed to the Planning Commission, which can uphold the Board's decision, overturn it, or modify it.
The Board is composed of seven members who serve two year terms for a maximum of four consecutive terms. Unless otherwise noticed, meetings of the Design Review Board are at 6:00 P.M. on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. Meetings of the Design Review Board are not currently televised.
