A nineteen-part TV series designed for teenagers, "Hollywood Makeover" shows behind-the-scenes techniques in filmmaking.
Some of the topics include setting up shots and shoots on a shoestring budget; using a green screen and virtual studio; filming vehicle shots for your independent film; how to conduct an audition for your film project; and promoting your film through festivals. Host Rachelle McCray interviews professional filmmakers during the first part of the episodes.
Then, the second segment features multiple parts of movies from Angel Family Films, the producers of "Hollywood Makeover." Presented by teen host and aspiring actress, Sedona Feretto, five independent films are shown throughout the program run that serve as examples of the lessons learned from the weekly filmmaking topics.
