Richmond After School Programs

Spend your out-of-school time with your recreation friends and staff from the Richmond Rec Complex, May Valley, Nevin, and Shields Reid Community Center in a fun and engaging program setting.

Each day, we will provide fun activities, art & crafts, games, and movement. Register online or visit us at 3230 Macdonald Avenue to submit an application. 

ELEVATE SUMMER CAMP

June 13th through August 5th, 2022



Elevate Summer Camp will be available in person with your favorite recreation staff and teachers from May Valley Community Center and Richmond Recreation Complex.

Camp Hours are 10:00am to 4:00pm



AM: Early Morning Care from 8:00am to 10:00am

PM: Extended Afternoon Care from 4:00pm to 6:00pm

Note: Lunches will be provided at select centers.

ACHIEVE SUMMER CAMP

 Achieve Summer Camp will be available with your favorite recreation staff and teachers from Booker T. Anderson Community Center, Parchester Community Center, Nevin Community Center, and Shields-Reid Community Center!
 
Camp Hours are 10:00 am-4:00 pm

CITY-WIDE SPRING BREAK CAMP

April 4th through April 8th, 2022



We invite you to join our staff and children from multiple Citywide Community Centers at our all-in-one Spring Break camp. Participants will experience various fun programs and activities, such as theme-based arts & crafts, brain games, sports, and more!

This year’s Spring Break Camp will take place at the Richmond Recreation Complex and will utilize the Rec Complex Gymnasium and Nicholl Park. Participants will need to bring a lunch/water bottle each day. Reserve your spot today!

Ages: Kindergarten - 8th Grade
Times & Cost:
Weekly Cost: $60 (10:00 am to 4:00 pm)
Before Care: $20 (8:00 am to 10:00 am)
After Care: $20 (4:00 pm to 6:00 pm)
