Preventing crime is the goal of the police department and the community alike. Reducing crime, and the impact it has on the people of our city, is the ultimate goal of community oriented policing. While the men and women of the Richmond Police Department will do what we can to identify and prevent crime, you can help us by taking some crime prevention measures and reducing your risk of victimization.
