Economic Development Commissioners are appointed by the Mayor. The purpose of this Commission is to advise the City Council and City officials on proposed activities for the development of the City’s port, marina and other overall economic development of the City. The Commission shall work with the City Manager and his designees on projects which substantially affect overall economic development in the City. Staff resources necessary to facilitate economic development shall be coordinated through the City manager’s Office.
