Help Clean up Richmond's Shoreline and Marshlands
Free BBQ at Noon at Shimada Park following the Clean-up!!
When: Saturday September 20, 2008 from 8:30 AM until Noon
Where:
Meet at Shimada Friendship Park in Richmond Marina Bay.
We will be cleaning up trash "hot spots" along the south shoreline in Richmond.
Directions to Shimada Park:
Exit 580 at Marina Bay Parkway; follow the Parkway almost to the Bay.
Shimada Park is on the left side of the Parkway almost at the end.
Other Information
Bring a friend (or two).
Wear old clothes, sturdy shoes, a hat, and apply sunscreen.
Bring your own refillable water bottle, if you can.
Children are welcome but must be supervised by an adult.
Snacks will be provided in the morning.
BBQ at Noon is free to all
