The Richmond City Attorney's Office is seeking qualified law firms to provide both advisory and litigation legal services to the City of Richmond in the following situation:
The Via Verdi at El Portal Drive Sinkhole which developed on April 15, 2010 on a culverted section of San Pablo Creek near the intersection of Via Verdi and El Portal Drive in the City of Richmond. For more information about the Sinkhole, please visit the City’s website at www.ci.richmond.ca.us. The nature and scope of the desired legal services include advising and representing the City in connection with potential tort claims and related litigation arising from or related to the Sinkhole.
