This form may be used to file a notice of rent increase for MULTIPLE Rental Units. List each Rental Unit and accompanying information below, or, if there are more than five (5) Rental Units receiving a notice of rent increase, upload an Excel file with all required fields.
Purpose
Purpose: This form may be used by a Landlord to notify the Board of a Rent Increase as required by Richmond Municipal Code Section 11.100.060(s)(1). Please review and follow the steps on the Rent Increase webpage (www.richmondrent.org/increase). PLEASE NOTE: To comply with RMC 11.100.060(s)(1), a Proof of Service form MUST be included with the notice filed with the City.

Tenant Education Requirement
Landlords are required to provide tenants with a copy of the Richmond Rent Program Brochure at the commencement of tenancy and with each notice of rent increase (RMC 11.100.060(g)). Downloadable copies of the Brochure are available on the Landlords webpage and via the links below.
