In accordance with recommendations from Contra Costa Health Services (CCHS), the Rent Program has CANCELLED the April 18, 2020 Community Workshop - Security Deposits: Rights and Responsibilities for Richmond Landlords and Tenants to reduce the possibility for transmission of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

While information is rapidly changing, and experts are learning more every day, the Rent Program is taking appropriate precautions to protect the community and staff. As more information and resources become available, we will continue to update the public of any further Program changes.

Previous workshop materials are accessible on the web at www.richmondrent.org/workshops. More information regarding the requirements of the Fair Rent, Just Cause for Eviction and Homeowner Protection Ordinance is accessible at www.richmondrent.org
