Join the childrens librarians and an East Bay Regional Park Naturalist for a nature walk, followed by storytime and activities. We will meet at the McBryde Ave entrance. The Historic Preservation Commission functions as the decision-making body for the design of new development projects in historic districts and major alterations to historic or potentially historic resources. The Commission also nominates properties for historic designation and conducts historic resource surveys and studies. Come and join us!
The Design Review Board functions as the decision-making body for the design of new development projects and most exterior changes to existing buildings. The Board also acts as an advisory body to the Planning Commission in cases also involving a land use decision. The Board's decisions can be appealed to the City Council, which can uphold the Board's decision, overturn it, or modify it. Come and join us!
