Walking on egg shells around people who yell; who criticize; or, conversely, who won’t tell you they are angry, but express it in passive or passive-aggressive ways, can be stressful, frustrating, and downright exhausting. Although you can’t reprogram someone else’s behavior, you can strengthen your ability to deal with it, weakening its impact, and creating space for more peace of mind. This program is for people who find it difficult dealing with other’s aggressive, passive, and/or passive-aggressive behavior. It includes tips and suggestions on what to do as well as what not to do. LEARNING OBJECTIVES: After the workshop, participants should be able to: - Define the concept of anger. - Review different expressions of anger and how they impact people. - Discuss tips for understanding their own responses to another’s anger. - Explore strategies for dealing with the other person’s angry behaviors.
