More 'Creature Features' Added
Started in January 2026, KCRT has expanded its "Creature Features" schedule to include a new Friday night/Saturday midnight telecast. This addition ensures that host Vincent Van Dahl and his companions, Tangella and Mr. Livingston, will appear on the station every night of the week.
The updated 2026 programming schedule includes:
- Friday Nights (Saturday 12:00 AM): A newly added "Creature Features" movie slot. Previously, an encore of the Richmond City Council Meeting was shown in this time slot (the meeting will now start at 2AM).
- Saturday Nights: A double-header featuring a new episode at 9:00 PM followed by a second film, typically starting at 11:00 PM.
- Livingston Presents: KCRT will also continue to air this limited-run spinoff hosted by Mr. Livingston during its production cycles.
Inspired by the classic San Francisco Bay Area horror-host programs made famous by Bob Wilkins in the 70s and John Stanley in the 80s on KTVU-Channel 2, this modern take stars Vincent Van Dahl. A former frontman of the 90s metal band "Prince of Darkness," Vincent retired from music a few years ago to enjoy a quieter life at his newly acquired home, Poulter Manor, in Bodega Bay. From this haunted mansion, he, his eccentric housemate Tangella, and Mr. Livingston deliver the best guests and the worst movies to audiences across the Bay Area and around the world.
