On June 30, 2009, U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer visited Richmond BUILD and Solar Richmond to learn more about their innovative Green jobs training program.  Senator Boxer praised an innovative green job training program in Richmond Tuesday, calling it a model for producing clean energy jobs.  "You've achieved a 90-percent job placement rate, which is pretty incredible," said Boxer. "Of course, we won't be happy until it's a hundred percent."
