Outplacement Services & Resources

 
Rapid Response Assistance for Employers
The Rapid Response Program is triggered by a WARN Notice and is designed to provide outplacement services to employers and their employees in the case of layoffs and/or facility closures. A Rapid Response Team consist of representatives from RichmondWORKS and representatives from EDD who will work collaboratively with a company and employees to provide transitional needs prior to the layoff and/or facility closure date. Available services include informational briefings, workshops, on-site registration for training programs, unemployment insurance benefits, and links to community services.
