El Departamento de Bomberos de Richmond llevará a cabo el entrenamiento del Equipo
de Respuesta a Emergencias Comunitarias (CERT) en español.

  • Preparación ante desastres
  • Seguridad al apagar incendios pequeños
  • Operaciones medicas básicas
  • Psicología y apoyo emocional durante desastres
  • Organización de equipos en su vecindario
  • Terrorismo, que hacer y que no hacer

Para recibir un certificado tiene que participar en todas las clases y en el simulacro final, donde recibirá su equipo de CERT que incluye mochila,casco y chaleco.

Richmond Fire Department will be conducting Community Emergency Response Training (CERT) in Spanish.

Participants will learn:

  • Disaster preparedness
  • Safety when putting out small fires
  • Basic medical operations
  • Psychology and emotional support during disasters
  • Organization of teams in your neighborhood
  • Terrorism, what to do and what not to do

To receive a certificate, you must participate in all classes and in the final drill, where you will receive your CERT equipment that includes backpack, helmet, and vest.
