To help our citizens protect their family and property during a disaster and until help arrives, OES offers numerous brochures, public speaking programs, and drills.
The first 72 hours of a disaster are critical because 9-1-1, Fire, Police, Ambulance Services, and Public Works, which we depend on every day, will be quickly overwhelmed during a disaster, and residents will be on their own.
