Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, any new business with a physical location within the City of Richmond is required to submit an application online or you may fill out a Business Tax Application and mail to the address listed below.
Businesses not located in Richmond can estimate tax bill using the Measure U Business Tax Calculator , and send a completed application and check to:

Starting January 1, 2022 all businesses in California must comply with California State Bill 1383. This bill requires business to subscribe to recycling and organics services in addition to other requirements.
