Macdonald Avenue Corridor Task Force
Overview
The Richmond City Council approved the establishment of the Macdonald Avenue Corridor Task Force on September 23, 2025, following a proposal by Mayor Eduardo Martinez and Councilmember Doria Robinson.
This limited-duration, Brown Act-compliant body brings together direct stakeholders and key decision-makers with influence over the corridor. The Task Force serves as a collaborative forum to:
Identify shared priorities
Share diverse community and stakeholder perspectives
Coordinate revitalization and development efforts

Purpose and Goals
The primary mission of the Task Force is to deliver a comprehensive set of recommendations to the Richmond City Council for the revitalization of the Macdonald Avenue Corridor.
