Outlined below are the next steps required to enter into an agreement with the City of Richmond. Please review the information below and make sure to complete each item in its entirety. The requested information is due by Close of Business (COB) on Friday, July 19, 2024. Earlier submissions are encouraged as staff will begin working on the items as they are received.

Vendor Supplemental Questionnaire Form and Disclosure Statement
Cumulative contract values equal to or greater than $10,000 require a City of Richmond Business License.
You may apply for a business license online (recommended) at Business License Portal.
If you have questions about the business license requirements for non-profits, please call the Business License Division at (510) 620-6742.
All vendors MUST carry current insurance. Provide a copy of your current insurance certificate AND the additional insured endorsement naming the City of Richmond as an additional insured.
The City requires Certificate(s) of Insurance coverage verification documents and Additional Insured Endorsement(s). These documents must be issued by your company’s insurance agent. Feel free to share the attached examples with your insurance agent so that they understand the City’s requirements.
Insurance requirements may be waived on a case-by-case basis. Please contact staff if you have questions related to insurance.
