Industrial Pretreatment Program
The Pretreatment Program is responsible for:
- Providing excellent service to the industrial and commercial businesses we serve
- Protecting the quality of the water bodies in and around Richmond
- Ensuring the wastewater discharges into the sewer system do not impair or harm the collection system, treatment plant personnel, the treatment process, or the water bodies to which they discharge
- Resolving the challenges in this arena to the best of our ability
- Issuing permits to wastewater dischargers in the sewer district
