23030B - 7th St Bike Lane Improvement Project

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Project is located between Hensley Street and Lincoln Ave at the Burlington North Sante Fe (BNSF) grade separate overpast crossing. In general, the project scope is to complete the sidewalk gap from Shields Reid Neighborhood to the North Iron Triangle Neighborhood, including the extension of bike lanes and pavement signage. The project construction is described as follows including incidentals as describe in these special provisions: demolition (sidewalk, curb & gutter, driveways, guardrails, asphalt concrete, and sign post), 2” grind and inlay, base repairs, site preparation, installation of new improvements (sidewalk, curb & gutter, driveways, guardrails, asphalt concrete, pavement striping and signage), bicycle safety measures, and other incidentals required to complete the construction that are required by the Drawings, State Standard Specifications of these Special Provisions.
